Currently I am working on the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/vyskumnecentrum.sk\/en\/home\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/vyskumnecentrum.sk\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\">Research Centre of the University of \u017dilina<\/a> and my research activities are focused on improvement of mechanical properties, mainly fatigue resistance, of conventional structural materials, mostly by creation of nanocrystalline layers on their surfaces. The aim is to increase design margin to improve safety and reliability and also to increase the load capacity of vehicles, which is accompanied by reduction of fuel consumption. So far, I have published more than 20 scientific articles indexed in Web of Science and more than a hundred smaller research papers.
